Order/Chaos at Sync Gallery

  • Sync Gallery 931 Santa Fe Drive Denver, CO, 80204 United States (map)

OPENING RECEPTION: FRIDAY October 16, 2026, 5 PM to 9 PM

Chaos/Order brings together new works by Nathan Dominik, Tiana Graves, and Marcus Stevenson, examining the tension between disorder and structure. Each artist considers how systems break down, reorganize, and find new forms within their own perspectives and mediums.

Nathan Dominik leaned into the chaos with all new materials, processes and creativity. His woodworking will be on display, but with the introduction of stains and color. The mixed media works may have natural textures but are far from anything found in nature. Nathan uses new materials and brings them into lightness and darkness. While there will be order in the exhibit, he hopes to evoke chaos.

Tiana Graves debuts new works from her latest series, Molded. Molded explores the tension between individuality and conformity, using gelatin-cast forms as a metaphor for identity shaped by societal expectations. As the forms transform beyond their molds, they reflect an identity that is never fixed, but continually shaped, resisted, and redefined.

Marcus Stevenson will debut works from his new series “Escapist Architecture.” “Escapist Architecture” is Marcus' attempt to translate his mental space into tangible objects and images. Marcus draws on the mental accumulation that results from living in today’s chaotic world and orders this raw material into a surreal landscape for the viewer to explore, granting unprecedented access to his maladaptive daydreaming.
