FIRST FRIDAY ART WALK

The Art District comes alive as thousands descend upon the Santa Fe Drive, rain or shine, for the First Friday Art Walks every month from 5:30-9:30 p.m.

View art from hundreds of artists at galleries, in studios, at co-ops, upstairs, downstairs, in alleys, on the street—everywhere! You'll often find food trucks on 7th and 9th Avenues.

third friday Collectors’ night 

Our Third Friday Art Nights are designed for everyone from first time art buyers to long time collectors! Akin to the First Friday Art Walk, dozens of galleries keep their doors open late for this year-round event—where you'll often have the opportunity to meet the artists. Come down for opening receptions, artists talks, and, of course, lots of art—there's something for the collector in everyone!

August first friday

Every First Friday in August, Santa Fe Drive is closed to traffic from 6th to 11th avenues for our biggest event of the year! You can view art from hundreds of artists in galleries, studios, co-ops, upstairs, downstairs, in alleys, on the street—everywhere! In addition to our member galleries, there are food trucks, live music, and more.

Second Sunday photo shoot

Join us on the Second Sunday of each month for a community photo walk right here in the Art District on Santa Fe. All cameras—film, digital, or smartphone—and all levels of experience are welcome. We support, encourage, and promote our colorful, inclusive community of artists of every expression and medium!

DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS / FIRST FRIDAY ART WALK

From costume contests and sugar skulls to local breweries and creative activities for the whole family, the annual Día de los Muertos procession and event represents 100% local Denver art and culture, uniting artists and residents alike in honor and celebration of our culture and creativity.
