Artist Talk and Reception
Monday, August 17, 6-8pm
$20 donation for admission, CVA members FREE
Join us for a talk with Aurora Robson who is leading the charge with post-consumer and post-industrial plastics, sculpting toxic waste into playful yet slightly menacing forms. Her practice explores the material irony of plastic, simultaneously indestructible and destructive, transforming it into objects of beauty while keeping its troubling origins ever-present.
Experience a special evening with featured artist and co-curator of the Sequesterings exhibition Aurora Robson. Enjoy refreshments while getting a behind-the-scenes look at the exhibition and taking a deep-dive into Robson's work, which inspired the exhibition.
