  • Artists on Santa Fe Gallery 747 Santa Fe Drive Denver, CO, 80204 United States (map)

Artists on Santa Fe Gallery presents “Fire and Ice,” Landscape Photography by Terrel Bailey, on view January 14 through February 16, 2026. Bailey’s images convey the profound impressions fire and ice make on earth’s ever morphing landscape. The public is invited to view the show during the Third Friday Artist Reception on January 16, 5 – 8 p.m., the First Friday Art Walk on Feb 6, 6 – 9 p.m. and during regular gallery hours.

Be it an ancient ice flow or modern wildfire, our earth is continuously shaped by these two fascinating elements, in both obvious and less visible ways. With this collection, Bailey explores our national parks, monuments, forests and other public lands with the intention of capturing evidence of the elements’ power and beauty. With a keen, curious eye on his surroundings, he records the natural world in its most scenic, and discovers the majesty in less remarkable moments.

Bailey was exposed to photography at a young age through his father, and after a high school class further sparked his interest, he has, in some capacity, been involved with it ever since. As a steward of the environment, he uses his images to promote conservation and proper management of the natural landscape. His work is part of private collections throughout North America.

Artists on Santa Fe Gallery at 747 Santa Fe Drive showcases the work of member and resident artists. The selection of original artwork on view includes ceramics, sculpture, paintings, mixed-media, printmaking and jewelry.
