For five years, I have driven Highway 287 between Fort Collins, Colorado, and Laramie, Wyoming, two to three times a week. It is 150 roundtrip miles of high plains, open sky, and one of the most dangerous stretches in the West. Locals call it the Highway of Death. 93,000 miles in, I still find it beautiful.

On the Road Again: Scenes from Highway 287 is a photojournalistic record of my commute. Some days it is the worst drive I know. Most days it is the best.
