CRAFTY ACTION SOCIETY
MAKE ART WHILE MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Wednesday, April 15, 5:30-8pm
It's time to get crafty!
Last month, we introduced you to our activist partners with an overview of our Crafty Action Society series. Now, it's time to craft for a cause! Join us in crafting for Denver's Field Academy, whose mission is to "provide programs that connect, engage, empower, and educate young people in order to inspire enduring learning and create a just and healthy nation." We'll create awards to give out to the people and places that inspire us, provide us hope, help us feel we belong, or make our community a better place.
Grab your friends for an evening of craftacular fun!
Crafty Action Society is a way to bring people together to learn from local organizations working for social change and to do so through “craftivism“- using creative expression to cultivate awareness and spread their message. This monthly series meets at CVA on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. Ticket price includes materials and snacks.
