An art-making happy hour where we learn new art-making techniques in community with other creatives. Join us at the Center for Visual Art where we will look to the artwork and mediums found in CVA's Dance of Resistance exhibition for inspiration. All artistic levels welcome.

Dance of Resistance is an exhibition featuring the work of LGBTQ+ artists who voice the stories of their communities, exploring histories and offering pathways to healing and empowerment. Through figural depictions that place the Queer body firmly in the spotlight, the artists reveal their lived experiences and imagined futures, illuminating the power of art to inspire change and foster understanding in our diverse world.

The Center for Visual Art (CVA) is the off-campus art gallery for MSU Denver, showcasing contemporary artists whose work sparks dialogue and creates pathways to change.
