931 Gallery presents two concurrent solo exhibitions opening July 25, 2025 5-9pm, in Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe. Manifesting Clutter by abstract painter Tracey Russell and What Remains by fiber artist Talia Johns offer compelling reflections on material presence and emotional perception.

Tracey Russell, a Boulder-Denver-based abstract painter, transforms everyday clutter into bold, expressive painted compositions. Her work reclaims the overlooked, turning visual noise into a language of pattern and color that asks viewers to reconsider the emotional weight of the ordinary.

Talia Johns explores memory, conflict, and endurance through sculptural fiber, wire forms, and shadow work. In What Remains, light and shadow complicate meaning, revealing the tension between fragility and resilience. Her work meditates on what endures and how we remain.
