Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe (ADSF) is excited to announce we will be kicking off the new year with the opening of our newest Emerging Artists Residency Class Show, Kin.

Opening this Friday, January 3rd, 2025, during the Art District on Santa Fe’s First Friday Art Walk, Kin will feature works by ADSF’s current Emerging Artists in Residence Kelly Hall, Sydnee Masias, and Catie Michel. Join us for an opening reception with the artists at the ADSF Studio & Headquarters (858 Santa Fe Drive) from 5:30-8:30pm. 

Kin explores the ways in which these three artists, across diverse mediums and practices, have come to explore the power of identity, connection, and the enduring influence of those who shape us. Hall, Masias, and Michel will be showcasing new works created during their time as residents in Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe, in addition to older works. 

ADSF’s Emerging Artists Residency Program was launched in the fall of 2021 and has since hosted over 30 up-and-coming Colorado artists. In partnership with NEWSED Community Development Co., this program is designed to support emerging local talent and foster the continued development of Denver's most historic creative district. Each selected artist receives 3 months of free studio space at the ADSF headquarters, a materials stipend, enrollment in NEWSED’s Business Basics course, mentorship opportunities, and more.

Kin will be on display at the Art District on Santa Fe Studios (858 Santa Fe Drive, Denver, CO) through the end of February 2025.
