Occurs on two Fridays - September 6 and 13, 10am - 2:30pm! Encaustic paints can transform soft, porous surfaces such as fabric and paper. Those surfaces can be sewn, folded, and glued into three dimensional shapes. We will create images using cyanotypes, SolarFast, fabric dyes, and watercolor during the first session. In the second session we will add encaustic and sewing to our creations, turning them into banners, books or sculptures.
