NKollectiv Artist Craig Demmon and guest artist Catherine Mulligan team up for this unique exhibition celebrating 40 years of collaboration. In this body of work, Demmon goes well beyond anything he has shown in the gallery to date, branching out from functional furnishings and accessories into true installation art that deals with the facades of humanity and society’s commercialization of women’s bodies. Mulligan’s art focuses on growth—in nature; in humankind; and in herself, as a woman, a humanist, an educator, and an artist. In this show, her strong figurative sculptures are presented in concert with Demmon’s sturdy and sleek wood designs, each style complementing the other.
