D’art Gallery, located at 900 Santa Fe Drive, hosts “Bursting Botanicals” a solo exhibition by Tricia Soderberg, from February 15th through March 10th, 2024. An Artist’s Reception is scheduled for Saturday, February 17th from 1-5 pm.

Tricia Soderberg draws inspiration from the wonder of botanical gardens, channeling their vibrant energy into stunning works of art. As she strolls past blossoming flowers and verdant leaves, Soderberg feels a profound sense of renewal. This passion shines through in her mesmerizing monotype prints. Soderberg employs a layered mixed-media technique to cultivate an illusion of depth and movement. She embraces the randomness of the creative process, inking and pressing real and artificial plants and hand-cut stencils onto plexiglass plates to be printed on archival paper. Soderberg often incorporates collaged elements, enhancing each print's unique personality. These imaginative interpretations invigorate the senses, transporting viewers into an oasis of light and life. Her work breathes new vitality into fragments of the natural world we so often take for granted.
