Katie White, "A Flower's Teeth"
I invite you to see my most recent body of work, centered around simple and straightforward imagery: a single flower, three flowers in a field, a dog leaping. In these works, I explore levity and defiance.
Barbara Baer, “Woodland"
Bramble, thicket, willow, conker … words from the habitat of an Eastern hardwood forest are illustrated in three dimensions. Woodland images unroll across structures of fabric, paper and wire. The sculpture installations celebrate forest order and system alongside the wild and random.
The North Gallery sports a complete contrast: a flight of modernist, tabletop sculptures. Each small work employs a suspended element to incorporate movement.
