Access Gallery is excited to present Black & White, a group exhibition of new works created by Access Gallery artists. The show features more than 50 artworks by 34 artists in a wide range of styles from figurative to abstract, and media ranging from paintings and drawings to sculpture and digital compositions.

Earlier this year, Access Gallery artists were invited to create works in their own style but with a twist: the incorporation of a primarily black and white palette. For artists with disabilities it can be challenging to veer away from particular habits, emotions, and aesthetics because black and white thinking is inherent. At Access Gallery, artists are encouraged to explore the gray areas through their art practice and in life.

Join us on Friday, June 16, and Friday, July 21, 2023, from 6 - 8 PM to meet the artists of Black & White and learn about their inspirations and processes. In addition, the artists will invite you to participate in artmaking activities, great conversation, and delicious treats.
