As one of the most iconic and beloved animals on the planet, elephants are a source of inspiration and wonder for artists of all mediums. Niza Knoll Gallery is now accepting original artwork submissions for a new juried exhibit entitled “Elephant in the Room”. Artists are invited to explore the many facets of the elephant, from their remarkable size and strength to their gentle intelligence and social bonds, and to contribute to the important conversation about the protection and conservation of these amazing creatures (the “Elephant in the Room” if you will).

Submissions are open to local or regional artists who can deliver artwork in person to the gallery if accepted. Artwork may not be shipped. The deadline for submissions is March 25, 2023, and all submissions must be made digitally through the CaFE website www.callforentry.org where the full prospectus can be found at bit.ly/ELEPHANTCFE.

The exhibition of accepted work runs from April 7–June 4, 2023. Artists can submit up to 3 pieces for a non-refundable fee of $38. The juror of this show is to be announced. This is a wonderful opportunity to have art showcased in Denver’s highly visible Art District on Santa Fe!
