SYNC Gallery Presents Renderings by Charlie Walter & Bringing Light by Patricia Rucker

Renderings by Charlie Walter is a body of abstract work in Oils/Cold Wax Medium on wooden cradle boards. His work is an original example of contemporary abstract expressionism with a strong experimental element. The works in Renderings are paintings of a larger dimension than what Walter has done in prior years.

Bringing Light is a selection of Patricia Rucker’s imagery in a variety of forms (quilts, mixed media art quilts, acrylic painting, and mixed media). Her focus on light compels the viewers to engage in determining the source of light in each work. Rucker, who has macular degeneration, demonstrates how it is possible to express herself with limited vision.
