SYNC Gallery Presents New Works by Helene Strebel and Jim Olson

Helene Strebel’s paintings are personal expressions of her lifelong fascination with visual effects and colors. She lets herself go with applying colors and forms on the canvas. Strebel creates acrylic paintings with textures and vibrant colors to express the pleasure of being seen, and finding a connection between the medium, my subject and the moment. Each painting is part of ongoing work. Art should be timeless.

Jim Olson’s artwork in this exhibit includes stoneware sculptures, oil paintings and drawings. He enjoys expressing himself in various mediums as part of is emersion into and celebration of the visual arts. The exploration of the relationships between expression and perception allows him to experiment with his work, to try new things and to grow artistically. These works are figurative, abstracted in the interest of composition and imagination.

First and Third Friday hours are 1 – 9. Our regular daytime gallery hours are Thursdays 1-4, Fridays 1-4, Saturdays 12-5, Sundays 1-4, or by appointment with individual artists.
