Enter your work, either traditional prints or prints with mixed media elements and be part of the Month of Printmaking at D’art Gallery in the Art District on Santa Fe. This exhibition will feature innovative approaches to printmaking practices where artists cross pollinate ideas to arrive at work that is uniquely individual, rich, complex. Printmaking opens a door to a wealth of types, processes, materials, thinking and outcomes and the possibility of expanding into mixed media artwork. The combination of printmaking and mixed media, or printmaking alone, allows for exploration on a multi-dimensional level adding complexity, expanded thinking and the opportunity to share your creativity and imagination.

Juror:
Melanie Yazzie is Professor of Art Practice and the Head of the Printmaking Department at the University of Colorado at Boulder. As a printmaker, painter and sculptor, her work draws upon her rich Dine (Navajo) cultural heritage. She exhibits nationally and internationally including organizing print exchange projects to connect communities across the world.
