Michaele Keyes - Remnants
Michaele Keyes uses old scraps of plywood, wood shingles, dry grasses and other debris she salvages from fields and alleys as the foundation of her recent textured pieces.
"I love the surprise of the textures and forms that spring from these old materials."
Sue Simon - Why Us, Virus?
This exhibit of paintings is about the viruses that exist all around us.
Throughout history pandemics have affected human lives and influenced world events.
Covid-19 is just the latest fast spreading virus to erupt and as always, we ask why did this happen to us!
Angela Larson - No Idea
My latest series of text based work is composed of encaustic paintings on panels, inscribed with words using the ancient Runic alphabet. The process of putting several layers of encaustic medium onto the panels and then etching letters into the surfaces is so meditative and satisfying.
