Made with yeast collected from Easter Island during our head brewer Andrew's honeymoon last autumn, this 6.1% ABV international pale ale will take you on a journey to Easter Island, where the Rapa Nui people centuries ago carved the famous giant stone statues, known as Mo’ai.
Andrew collected the yeast from ambient microbes and local flowers, and Denver’s Inland Island Yeast Laboratories helped isolate & propagate the proper yeast sample to brew beer with.
We also added mango, guava, and Viognier white wine during fermentation.
