Michael Warren Contemporary (MWC) is pleased to present “The Way of The White Clouds.” We will have a concurrent exhibition of new work by Kelton Osborn.

Meghan Wilbar uses natural abstraction to create paintings that evoke the experience one has within their surroundings. She explores the natural world by exploring the dance between colliding forms, the interchange of negative and positive space, light and color. Through the buildup of paint, colors and textures are created to emphasize expansive landscapes on her two dimensional panels.


“My work explores this journey through a meditation on what is seen by the eyes and the mind. For the past year, I’ve explored the physical and metaphysical clouds on my own journey through Wyoming, Colorado and New Mexico.“ says Wilbar.

Meghan Wilbar was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado. She received her BA from Knox College, and her MFA from the New York Studio School. In the fall of 2010, she was an artist in the Bronx Museum, Artist in the Marketplace program (AIM 30.) She received a fellowship to the Spiro Arts residency program for spring 2012. She currently lives and works in Denver.
