Over the years as I became more accomplished and known as a fine artist, my works were going into more prestigious collections and earning more money. However, the money I earn is not as important to me as it is to be able to actually create the art and share it with others. It has always been one of my core values to make my art available to all art lovers, no matter what budget concerns they have. So The "Art for Everyone" idea came out of my need to make my original art (not reproductions) accessible to everyone. A few years ago, I did my first "Art for Everyone" event at Art in the Park in Parker, Colorado. I offered original works from $50 and up, and I featured many works for $900 that would normally sell for $3000-$5000. It was very successful and people expressed great appreciation for the opportunity to acquire works that they not only love, but could afford. So I've been doing occasional "Art for Everyone" events ever since. I am grateful to Bill Thomason at Bitfactory for this opportunity to do it at his gallery. He is an excellent curator and it's a great honor to work with him.
