The Chicano Humanities and Arts Council (CHAC) and partners (Metro State University Chicano/a/x Studies and Journey Through Our Heritage and Colorado Folk Arts Council), celebrates Cinco de Mayo with a virtual Aztec Dance presentation from Mexico City by Flor y Canto Arte Ciencia y Tradition Indigena (Art of Flower and Song). Flor y Canto Arte Ciencia y Tradition Indigena (Art of Flower and Song) brings you traditional Aztec Dance from Mexico City. Anibal Alcaentara Becerri has been the artistic director of FYCACYTI for 25 years.
This collective of artists endeavors to preserve and propagate understanding of the cultural concept Flor y Canto and the ancient foundation of Mexico.
