Photographer Dan Baumbach will give an artist talk at 2 pm, on Sunday March 28 as part of the Art District on Santa Fe "Sundays on Santa Fe" at D'art Gallery about his Solo Exhibition: "Discoveries: Found Magical Occurrences".

Dan Baumbach’s muse is the natural world. Dan spends his creative time wandering in places that are less frequented by most photographers. His camera is his eye looking at little details: water, leaves, grasses, ice, clouds. His focus quiets him to give him time to notice things that people walk past. His most cherished moments are when something grabs his attention and a discovery occurs. He stops in his tracks as a little confluence of leaves, water, ice or other elements tell him their story. At that moment, Dan sets up his camera and tripod to begin his creative exploration. The second part of his creative process beings at home in front of his computer where Dan reviews his raw files and new discoveries occur.
