CHAC is proud to host a Day of Healing in conjunction with the “Corn Mothers Healing Through the Arts” exhibit (running Feb. 7 to Feb. 27, 2020). Art has an extraordinary ability to heal the artist and the observer. Day of Healing features Aztec dance group Huitzilopochtli, Ara Cruz & Words to Power and Cieba Healers (Tibetin bowls, platicas, henna, Reiki, oils and more). This event is free and open to the public. Healers will charge a fee and a portion will go to support CHAC’s programming.

CHAC Gallery & Cultural Center was founded in 1978 by a group of visual and performing artists. The organization was established as a place where Chicano/Latino artists were provided with a venue to explore visual and performance art and promote and preserve the Chicano/Latino culture through the expression of the arts.
