Jacqueline Berkman-Glatigny was born into a large artistic family where most of its members are involved with some creative talent. The family philosophy is, "to work with your head is not enough, you must be able to work and create with your hands". Since her childhood she has always been in or part of a creative process, drawing, painting, woodworking, sculpture, assemblage, making jewelry and sewing. Born in France, she taught in Belgium, Switzerland and later in the U.S. Jacqueline currently resides in Colorado where she continues to give free rein to her creativity.
