Macy Dorf's and Judy Gardner's work is a dialog between the materials and the process. Macy works viscerally, trusting that the two will influence the direction of the piece. Judy's approach is driven more by a shamanic view of the world, seeing everything as alive. The materials speak about how they want to express themselves. It is always fascinating that although the artists work individually, often with little communication, the resulting work seems to be holding a similar conversation. Meet the artists on First and Third Friday evening events!
In addition, work from 16 gallery members, including paintings, ceramics, photography, jewelry, and sculpture will be exhibited. While you're with us, explore two floors of studios inhabited by 30 artists working in a variety of media. Visit with the artists and see what's happening at Artists on Santa Fe Gallery + Studios!
