Niza Knoll Gallery at 915 Santa Fe Drive will round out 2017 with a juried show of art works that incorporate the encaustic medium. Encaustic is an artistic process using pigments mixed with hot wax and fused with heat. The Wax Stories 2 exhibit runs from the opening of Denver Arts week on November 3, 2017 through the holiday season, until January 6, 2018. It features pieces from artists around the country who submitted works to a call for entries, juried by local artist Patricia Aaron and curated by Victoria Eubanks. Each piece is accompanied by an artist-composed story behind their creation. The public is invited to view and purchase works during regular business hours Wednesday-Fridays, 1-5 pm (First and Third Friday 4-8), Saturday 1-4, and during the following special events:

First Friday ArtWalk: November 3, 4-8 pm
Artists Reception: Friday, November 17, 2017 – 5-8 pm
The Art of Brunch: Sunday, November 26, 11–3 pm
First Friday ArtWalk: December 1, 4-8 pm and January 5, 4-8
Third Friday Collectors Night: December 15, 4-8 pm
