The three printmakers in this exhibit all draw their inspiration from the natural world. They find the beauty of form arising from the balanced proportions of botanical, animal and geologic subjects.

Artists Mary “Patty” McAuliffe and Carol Till are both known for their detailed realistic drawing skills which they translate into beautiful, intricate intaglio etchings. Jeff Russell is inspired by his worldly travel and incorporates those images into dazzling geometric polymer plate prints.

These printmakers use traditional and contemporary printmaking techniques (chine collé, hand-coloring, embossments, á la poupée inking) to explore and expand the possibilities of of an image.
